Ultimate Happenings: June Edition

Petal Power
Wild travelled to sunny and hot Vancouver last weekend to participate in Petal Power, the 2015 version of Flowerbowl.  Going 3-1 on Day 1, the 'experienced' ladies showed some BC Juniors teams that sometimes age does come before beauty.

On Sunday, Wild fell in the quarters but finished strong by winning the next 2 games to end the tournament placed 5th out of 19 teams!  A great and fun weekend was had by all including our 2 coaches who got some tanning (or burning) and line-calling practice in.  Big shout out to all the rookies who did amazing in the first multi-day tournament of the year!

Visit our Facebook page to see pictures of the team in our brand spanking new kit!

Wild Vixenz in Hawaii

Some girls from Wild Rose had an amazing time in Waimanalo, Hawaii last weekend playing in the Kaimana Klassik tournament.  Through our favourite Kiwi player's connections (yay Jana!), Wild Rose joined forces with Auckland's women's team Vixenz to form Wild Vixenz.

Lots of sun (except during the torrential downpour on Saturday morning) and great frisbee played over the 3-day tournament.  Here's to more fun in the land of delicious poke with our Kiwi friends again next year!
