Reminder: Practice @ Stanley Park Tonight With A Focus On Throwing!

Tonight practice will be at Stanley Park and will focus on throwing with a guest expert in the house to lend us some tips & tricks! Practice starts at the same time -- be cleated and ready to warm up at 6:30 pm -- but will run a bit later till about 8:50pm. Please do your best to attend this session as it will be very valuable for everyone!

HoDown - Where Jello And Balloons Meet

Don't forget to bring cash to the HoDown party this Saturday for Wild Rose's annual jello shot fundraiser! Back for the third year in a row, Wild Rose is 'getting jiggly with it' in 2012 by adding some new jello offerings to the standard shot selection. Better bring some extra bucks so you can try them all and buy a few for your friends too!

Shots will be sold after dinner, around 7:30 pm. It won't be hard to pick the sellers out from the crowd...they have very *defining* features.

We hope so.
Apparently this is the opinion of one of the largest video marketers of ultimate, NexGen, and the lack of womens DVD sales and viewership to date is what they're standing by as their proof of the statement above. For more on that, see this other article.
So let's prove them wrong!
NexGen is streaming the Team Canada vs. Fury game today - Saturday, June 16 - for FREE and they will be watching to see how many people tune in.
Let's blow them away with viewership of this women's game (and not just because Calgary's very own Terri Whitehead will be starring in the show! ps. That's Terri above, rocking the downfield against her now fellow teammate on Team Canada - go Terri!).
