So what's the likelihood of Women's Masters ultimate being played on home turf? According to a new proposal in the works, it could be as early as CUC 2013 in Vancouver, BC.
The minds behind it are Mandy Wintink, Nat Fitzgerald, Alena Papayanis and Hadiya Roderique -- a small but determined group who are committed to flushing out the details and rallying support for the idea. The goal is to have a proposal for a Womens Masters Division at CUC 2013 ready to present to the Ultimate Canada Board of Directors by January. As you know, we were successful! But now we are on to 2014. Are the Calgary women coming?? We need your support and want you to join in this year along with us (Terra from Toronto), Ottawa, Maritimes, Montreal, and hopefully the prairies and Vancouver. Are you coming?? :)
